Talk Town is a democratic forum. A stage for debate and learning. Every year we invite actors and individuals from Denmark and abroad to create meaningful conversations about equality, gender and feminism. At Talk Town, everyone is welcome as long as they can agree to our guidelines.

Open Call 2025
Do you or your organization want to help bring attention to equality, feminism, and gender at Talk Town 2025? This year, we’re focusing on fundamental rights under pressure, with an emphasis on gender equality and the rights of women and minorities. On the first day of the festival, Thursday, October 2, we’ll spotlight global fundamental rights. On Friday, October 3, we’ll turn our attention locally with an Election Festival as a part of our campaign “Take a Stand for Equality (“Tag stilling til Ligestilling”), leading up to the upcoming local and regional elections. Would you like to organize an event with a global, national, or local focus – a talk, a workshop, art, music, or something entirely different? If so, we invite you to submit an application no later than August 15.
